Here at Eagle Crest Resort, we enjoy mild winters in comparison to Bend, Oregon, yet we’re just a few minutes from the deep powder snow of Mount Bachelor. It is not uncommon for guests to ski in the morning and golf in the afternoons at Eagle Crest Resort.
Mount Bachelor is undeniably the best ski resort in the Northwest. Certainly we’re biased, but nowhere will you find a vertical drop of 3,365 feet, 13 lifts, 70 runs to match any skill level, and no lift lines. Seriously, even on major holidays you’ll be unlikely to wait more than a few minutes to load the chair. Mount Bachelor is just 38 miles from Eagle Crest Resort and boasts one of the longest ski seasons in the country—typically November through May. At the mountain, you’ll find great programs for beginners, a kid’s school, multiple parks and half-pipes, sled dog rides, snowshoe tours, a tubing park, and 56 kilometers of cross-country trails.
