Tam has given quality instruction for over 20 years and at Eagle Crest for 7 years. Tam's students enjoy his friendly approach, use of video technology, and comprehensive teaching style. Tam is a graduate of and former University of Oregon varsity player, twice a current course record holder, and played on the PGA Tour as a qualifier in the Northern Trust L.A. Open in 2001. His low tournament round is 64 in a SCPGA event in 2004. In 2008 Tam also captured the Crosswater Invitational. Tam teaches credit classes for Central Oregon Community College and serves as Head Golf Coach for the Redmond High School Men's team. Tam takes your golfing improvement personally and has programs available for golfers of every skill level.
Ron has been helping Central Oregon golfers improve for the past 22 years. Ron's students enjoy his personable style and his emphasis on keeping golf simple. Originally from San Diego, Ron started at Eagle Crest in 1991 and as Director of Golf oversees the golf operation at the Resort. Ron teaches credit classes for Central Oregon Community College and serves as the Men's Head Golf Coach at Ridgeview High School. Ron has coached two State runner up teams at the 6A level, 2008 and 2010. Ron is an excellent player having won many professional events; most recently the 2008 Crosswater Invitational. Ron has previously held multiple course records and once fired a blistering 27 on the back 9 of the Ridge Course in the 1999 PNW open. In 2006 Ron guided his Pro-Am team to the PNW open championship. Ron is eager to use his instructional and playing expertise to help any golfer with goals to improve.
Kevin has been with Eagle Crest Resort for 4 years as the Golf Event Coordinator and is currently working towards his Class A PGA Membership. Originally from Prineville, Kevin developed into an accomplished junior player, and earned a scholarship to play at the collegiate level at Treasure Valley C.C. in Ontario. Kevin's low tournament round is 67 and he has a low career round of 65. Kevin has an easy to understand instructional style with a relaxed approach. As a PGA Apprentice, Kevin offers lesson rates that are 20% off our listed rates.
