May – September 2015
If you are looking for a special way to celebrate July 4th, start the day with Bend’s most historical event, the Pet Parade, where children of all ages bring their special pet (we’ve seen dogs – large & small, llamas, horses, lizards, goats, and lots of stuffed animals) to parade through downtown Bend. Sponsored by Bend Pet Express, it’s one of the most unique parades you’ll ever see!
A Community Tradition in Downtown Bend since the 1930’s
The Redmond Park and Recreation District is partnering with Central Oregon Truck Company and the Deschutes County Fair Expo Center to host Redmond’s 2013 Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration. The free event will run from 11:00am to 4:00pm. Enjoy a day of games, bounce houses, petting zoo, pony rides, live music and more. You won’t want to miss this fun-filled, family day.
After the Pet Parade, come join the full day of fun at Bend Park & Recreation’s Old Fashioned July 4th Festival in Drake Park from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Start the 4th of July with a pancake breakfast from 8:00AM to 11:00AM
Festivities, including live music, old fashioned games and vendor activities, are from 11:00AM to 4:00PM
